Root & Bloom Playgarden — A Waldorf-inspired, nature-based Outdoor Preschool in the heart of Benicia

Root & Bloom Playgarden is a nurturing, home-based preschool nestled in downtown Benicia, inspired by the principles of Waldorf education and the rhythms of the nature. Our program is thoughtfully designed to support the whole child through a gentle, play-based curriculum that honors childhood simplicity.

Each day unfolds outdoors (in all weather!) where children are invited to explore, imagine and connect deeply with nature and one another. Our days follow a nourishing rhythm that includes nature walks, storytelling, seasonal crafts, songs, gardening and ample time for unstructured play.

Root & Bloom is a place where children are seen, heard and celebrated for who they are. Here, they develop a love for learning rooted in nature, creativity and community.
